Does it matter which side you're on? Social pressures are humorously considered in this rivalry between cops and robbers, adapted from a short story by the quirky Italo Calvino. An agreeable guy, not quite an innocent bystander, finds his loyalties taken for granted during the course of a burglary, alternating between helping each group in their stealthy endeavors, one to capture, the other to evade. A giddy, revolving chase story.
